• 2/29/12 – 6:33 AM – 4400 Green – A report of an unauthorized person taking a parked vehicle sometime overnight. The vehicle was recovered in a nearby county.

AUTO BURGLARY

• 2/29/12 – 8:09 AM – 3800 Denwood – A report of a vehicle window smash and a loss of property from inside sometime overnight.
• 2/29/12 – 8:47 AM – 11300 Barbi – A report of a vehicle window smash and a loss of property from inside sometime overnight.
• 3/3/12 – 11:20 PM – 4600 Lampson – A report of a vehicle window smash and a loss of property from inside during the prior hour.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/SHOPLIFT

• 2/29/12 – 12:31 PM – 11100 Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of a loss of property from inside a business sometime during the prior day.

ASSAULT

• 3/3/12 – 1:24 PM – 10600 Chestnut – A report of a disturbance. An 18-year-old man from Los Alamitos was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence battery and false imprisonment.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

• 2/27/12 – 8:30 PM – Walnut and Catalina – Traffic stop. A 42-year-old man from Cathedral City was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
• 3/2/12 – 11:43 PM – 10900 Los Alamitos Blvd. – Pedestrian check. A 51 year-old woman from Los Alamitos was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and a 41 year-old man from Los Alamitos was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon.

THEFT

• 2/27/12 – 1:23 PM – 10600 Oak St. – A report of an unauthorized person taking a jar of coins during a residential move from another city to Los Alamitos.

• 2/27/12 – 10:51 AM – Green and Saratoga – Pedestrian check.  A 23 year-old man from Los Alamitos was arrested on suspicion of falsely identifying himself as another person and possession of stolen property.
• 2/27/12 – 12:04 PM – 10500 Calle Lee – A report of an unknown telephone caller harassing employees at a business.
• 2/27/12 – 9:23 PM – 4300 Katella Ave. – A report of a disturbance. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, 19 years, of Los Alamitos, for warrants.
• 2/28/12 – 8:00 AM – Bloomfield and Myra – A report of graffiti on a wall.
• 2/28/12 – 10:38 PM – 4200 Katella Ave. – Bike stop. A 25 year-old man from Lakewood was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer.

• Male, 63 years, of Quail Valley, for a warrant and suspicion of possession of dangerous weapons.
• 3/3/12 – 9:51 PM – 3600 Katella Ave. – A report of a disturbance at a business. A customer made criminal threats to an employee and left the area.
