Crime: A Stolen Vehicle, a Drug Arrest and Two Broken Windows

STOLEN VEHICLE

9/24/12 – 7:16 PM – 3700 Green – A report of an unauthorized person taking a vehicle sometime in the prior 24 hours.

AUTO BURGLARY

9/23/12 – 12:37 AM – 5000 Katella Ave. – A report of a vehicle window smash sometime in the prior three hours but no loss of property from inside.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/SHOPLIFT

9/29/12 – 11:26 AM – 3600 Katella Ave. – A report of a window smash at a business but no property taken from inside.

DUI

9/24/12 – 11:49 PM – Katella Ave. and Los Alamitos Blvd. – Traffic stop. A 23-year-old Cerritos woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI. 

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

9/25/12 – 12:48 PM – 4700 Katella Ave. – Counseling at a business.  A 27-year-old Los Alamitos man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possessing narcotics paraphernalia and being under the influence of controlled substance. 

THEFT

9/24/12 – 8:38 PM – 4000 Howard – A report of an unauthorized person taking property from an unsecured vehicle sometime in the prior three hours.

9/25/12 – 8:13 AM – 4000 Howard – A report of an unauthorized person taking property from an unsecured vehicle sometime overnight.

9/29/12 – 11:00 AM – 11200 Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of a theft of property from the rear of a business.

MISCELLANEOUS

9/24/12 – 2:40 PM – Florista and Chestnut – A report of a disturbance at a residence.  A Los Angeles woman, 23, was arrested for a warrant. 

9/25/12 – 8:29 PM – 11000 Enterprise – A report of a violation of a restraining order.

9/28/12 – 7:39 AM – Cerritos Ave. and Los Alamitos Blvd. – A report of a non-injury traffic collision.  A 36-year-old Midway City man was arrested for a warrant.
