Car Plows into Flower Shop
The driver of a brand-new Toyota Prius accidentally drove through the Petals and Pop flower shop Wednesday in Seal Beach.
A driver who was pulling out of a parking space ended up plowing backward through a new Seal Beach flower shop this week, the Sun Newspaper reported.
The crash occurred on Wednesday just after 12:30 p.m. at the Petals and Pop flower shop on Main Street, according to the newspaper. While pulling out of the parking space, the driver put the brand-new Toyota Prius in reverse and stepped on the gas instead of the brake pedal.
The newspaper reported the flower shop's owner was pulled out of the car's path by a resident.
One person was treated for minor injuries, the newspaper reported.
Police said no alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash.
Petals and Pop celebrated its grand opening in August.
