2/14/13-9:29 AM-10800 Oak St. A report of unauthorized persons taking the victim’s vehicle during the last 10 minutes.
AUTO BURGLARY
2/10/13-2:28 PM-10800 Bloomfield St. A report of an unauthorized person entering a vehicle by removing the rear window and taking a laptop bag within the last 3 hours.
2/13/13-6:56 PM-10800 Oak St. A report of an unauthorized person entering a vehicle by smashing a window and taking a woman’s purse within the last 3 hours.
2/13/13-7:54 PM-4100 Katella Ave. A report of an unauthorized person entering a vehicle by smashing the window and taking a computer bag within the last 2 hours.
2/13/13-8:39 PM-10700 Reagan St. A report of an unauthorized person entering a vehicle by smashing the window and taking a cell phone within the last 2 hours.
2/14/13-12:48 PM-10600 Los Alamitos Blvd. A report of an unauthorized person entering a vehicle by the suspect disabling the door lock and taking computer equipment and a firearm.
2/15/13-9:56 PM-10900 Los Alamitos Blvd. A report of an unauthorized person entering a vehicle by prying the door and taking property sometime during the last hour.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
2/15/13-10:29 AM-3600 La Colmena-A report of an unauthorized person entering the victim’s residence by smashing the rear sliding door and removing miscellaneous property between 7:00 AM and 10:20 AM.
ASSAULT
2/16/13-1:00 AM-5052 Katella Ave-A report of an assault and battery where neither party requested prosecution.
DRUNK IN PUBLIC
2/16/13-10:31 PM-12000 Paseo Bonita-A report of a subject causing a disturbance. A 52-year-old Los Alamitos man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
2/10/13-9:53 PM-4700 Katella Ave. A check of a suspicious person. A 42-year-old woman from Big Bear was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.
2/16/13-10:16 PM-5100 Katella Ave-A check of a suspicious occupied vehicle. A 42-year-old Lakewood resident was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
THEFT
2/12/13-9:21 AM-4700 Katella Ave. A report of someone taking bedding between 2/11 and 2/12/13.
2/12/13-12:54 PM-3700 Katella Ave. A report of someone taking an unlocked bicycle in the last 4 hours.
2/15/13-12:16 PM-10800 Oak St. A report of a catalytic converter taken on 2/14/13 between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
2/16/13-12:08 PM-11200 Los Alamitos Blvd.-A report of a bottle of vodka taken.
IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD
2/12/13-1:00 PM-4400 Green Ave. A report of an unauthorized person establishing credit card accounts in the victim’s name.
MISCELLANEOUS
2/14/13-9:22 AM-3900 Katella Ave.-Check of a suspicious pedestrian. A 25-year-old Ventura man was arrested for outstanding warrants.
2/16/13-1:11 AM-A check of a suspicious occupied vehicle. A 55-year-old Riverside man was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
2/16/13-7:45 AM-4400 Cerritos Ave.-A report of a male subject seen vandalizing city property. A 21-year-old Cypress man was arrested on suspicion of vandalizing city property.
