After Mooning, Man Arrested on Suspicion of Drunk, Disorderly Conduct

Editor's Note: The following crime calls were made to the Seal Beach Police Department and listed on the SBPD dispatch log. 

TRAFFIC HAZARD

  • 05/31/2013 – 9:50 p.m. – 5th and Electric – Four to five young people were seen moving traffic cones. Police cleared the area but were unable to locate the kids.

  • 05/31/2013 – 11:22 p.m. – Harbor Way –  A caller reported neighbors playing loud music.

DUI

  • 06/01/2013 – 1:19 p.m. – Pacific Coast Highway and 5th – The driver of a Honda Accord threw two or three beers cans out the window on southbound Pacific Coast Highway. The passenger of the vehicle also yelled outside the window.

  • 06/01/2013 – 2:26 a.m. – Central and 11th – Five other people tried to corral a drunk man on the street. Described as in his 20s or 30s, the man was allegedly attempting to fight others. Later the man knocked on a caller’s door and wanted the woman to let him in. When she refused, he mooned her. The man was arrested on suspicion of drunk and disorderly conduct.

PETTY THEFT

  • 06/01/2013 – 4:43 p.m. – Seal Beach Boulevard – Four teenagers were detained for stealing clothing.
