$7,000 Worth of Jewelry Reported Stolen from Unlocked Honda

Here are five odd, interesting or important crime calls listed by the Seal Beach Police Department recently

LOBBY

  • 11/13/2012 — 11:15 a.m. — Hazelnut Avenue — An unknown suspect used the caller’s information to write checks for about $270.30.

LOBBY

  • 11/13/2012 — 11:19 a.m. — Oleander Street — About $7,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from a caller's unlocked 2010 Gray Honda Accord on Oct. 27. 

POWER LINE

  • 11/13/2012 — 1:19 p.m. — Bolsa Chica and Saint James — Some power lines were reported hanging down. Officials were unable to locate them.

FAMILY DISTURBANCE

  • 11/13/2012 — 1:40 p.m. — A Row — A caller’s eleven year old daughter was hitting the caller. The caller said he or she is scared because “things have been escalating.”

MEDICAL AID

  • 11/11/2012 — 2:14 p.m. — Lampson Avenue and Seal Beach Boulevard — The driver of a green or tan vehicle was reported slumped over the steering wheel. Medics were dispatched.
