$30,000 Theft: 2 Diamonds, Gold Ring, Gold Chain Missing from Safe

Editor's Note: The following crime calls were made to the Seal Beach Police Department and listed on the SBPD dispatch log. 

GRAND THEFT

• 04/18/2013 — 2:15 p.m. — Heron Circle — After opening a safe, a caller found jewelry missing. The caller said two diamonds, a gold chain and a gold ring, valued at about $30,000, were stolen.

LOBBY

• 04/18/2013 — 5:53 p.m. — Seal Beach Boulevard — A caller said employees who had cleaned the pier were having trouble getting people off the property so they could lock up.

TRAFFIC COLLISION

• 04/18/2013 — 6:23 p.m. — 1st Street — A blue Trailblazer and a gray Nissan Versa were involved in a crash. Unknown injuries.

COUNSELING

• 04/18/2013 —6:58 p.m. — Seal Way — A caller said there is a constant problem of vehicles driving the wrong direction in the area. The caller said he would like an extra patrol to investigate the issue.

TRAFFIC COLLISION NON-INJURY

• 04/19/2013 — 9:07 a.m. —North Gate and Seal Beach Boulevard —A white Mercedes and a silver Toyota Camry collided. No injuries were reported.
