Philanthropist, Musicians With Disabilities to Help at St. Isidore's
Music group Kyndryd will play and Frank Garcia, founder of We Give Thanks charity, will provide Mexican food at the wine and beer garden in Los Alamitos Thursday.
Music and tacos go together like ... well, music and tacos.
And there will be plenty of both at St. Isidore's Thursday Night Beer and Wine Garden when a noted local philanthropist serves up Mexican grub while a musical group made up of people with disabilities plays some tunes.
The group Kyndryd will perform “a little bit of everything” at St. Isidore's Plaza at 10961 Reagan Street, according to St. Isidore's publicity director Anita Schommer.

“They are not only great musicians but great people,” Schommer said.
Restaurant owner and philanthropist Frank Garcia, founder of the Anaheim restaurant La Casa Garcia, will be serving tacos, burritos and enchiladas on the site.

In 2011, Garcia was named Man of the Year at the Cypress College Foundation’s 36th Annual Americana Awards for his years of work with his charity organization We Give Thanks, which provides needy families with food on Thanksgiving.
The beer and wine garden is open from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Thursday night, and funds from the alcohol sales go to save the historic St. Isidore church.
