Plastic water bottle boat "Plastiki" is temporarily moored in Long Beach.This incredible 60' catamaran is the one I have been telling you about as soon as I first heard about it a couple years ago! Last year it sailed from San Francisco California to Sydney Australia.

I just saw it today just right of the pier next to the Belmont Pier in Long Beach as you're looking out toward the ocean. Absolutely amazing to see - and I'm guessing they won't be there for very long! I went back this afternoon to photograph it for you to see for yourself, and the photo is below!
