Close to 400 students will perform holiday classics at Los Alamitos High School.

The award-winning Los Alamitos High School Choir will perform their annual holiday-themed program this weekend at the high school's performing arts center.

The concert, dubbed "Home for the Holidays," will feature four performances Dec. 5-7.

"We feature close to 400 choir students performing holiday classics and contemporary numbers, as well as a special guest appearance by the Los Alamitos High School string orchestra," choir director David Moellenkamp said in a news release. "With so many talented students in our program, we’re excited about creating an evening full of amazing and memorable moments for our audiences to enjoy."

According to show organizers, the finale will feature Los Alamitos choir alumni joining current students on stage to sing "Hallelujah."

Shows will begin each night at 7 p.m. with an additional matinee performance on Dec. 7 that starts at 2 p.m.

Tickets for the shows can be ordered online on the Los Alamitos Choir website. Tickets run from $12 for balcony seating to $25 for preferred seating.
