If you've got leftover Halloween candy, there's a Los Alamitos dentist who'll happily take it from you.
No, no, he's not a monster.
He's accepting candy donations and then sending them to American soldiers.
Dentist Edward H. Luong will be collecting candy for the troops as part of the Halloween Candy Buy Back,
Here's how it works.
- Dentists "buy" candy from kids with cash, coupons, toothbrushes, food, services or goods per pound donated.
- Dentists send the candy to Operation Gratitude or another military support groups.
Through Nov. 8, you can drop off your candy at Luong's office at 3551 Farquhar Ave, Suite 103 Los Alamitos, CA, 90720.
The offic is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 p.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursday 7 p.m. to 4 p.m and closed on Friday.
This is Luong's first year doing the buyback, and they started last Monday.
If you have any questions, you can call Luong's number at 562-596-1655 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
