Take the Stress out of Meal Planning

With today's hectic schedules, family dinners often fall by the wayside. The key is planning, so you can have family dinners and quality time for other important activities in your life.
Going to the grocery store multiple times each week uses up a lot of valuable time and energy. 
My motto...shop once, cook once, eat twice or three times. On Sunday make extra chicken, rice, quinoa, beans, vegetables. By doing this you'll have healthy leftover options for tacos, pizza, burritos and meat/veggie bowls throughout the week.
Staple foods should be in stock at all times for those spontaneous cooking moments. 
When shopping, take a pre-printed grocery list. This will save time and money.

However you decide to prepare your family meals, just remember to eat together, eat healthy and enjoy it.
