Seal Beach Resident Gives Back

Janine Limas gives back to Interval House, a Seal Beach Crisis Shelter, which had helped her in a time of need.

Janine Limas, a Seal Beach resident and community leader, once lived in the Interval House, a local Seal Beach crisis shelter for victims of domestic violence, with her two children after escaping from her abusive husband, according to the Sun Newspaper.

Now, she gives back to the Interval House.

"I always love to invite our local residents to come and meet the families at Interval House because it’s so hard to think of families living in a shelter in fear for their lives," Limas told the Sun Newspaper.

According to the article, Limas gives back through donations and getting the community involved to donate to the residents of the Interval House.

"Your donation goes directly to the women and children of Interval House. I know – I'm a living example of how it can change your life," Limas told the Sun Newspaper.
