St. Luke's Music Fest

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church is proud to present nationally known vocalist, Becky Martin, in concert at the first ever St. Luke’s Music Fest on Saturday, October 13. The outdoor concert event, which runs from 2pm until 5pm, will also feature local acts Sycamore Creek, Empty Number Seven, Ryan Ferrari, and the St. Luke’s Praise Band.
Becky Martin is one of L.A.'s premiere session vocalists, with credits including the Buzz Light Year show (Disneyland), Phineas & Pherb, Guitar Hero, Arturo Sandoval, Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, and sharing the stage with Natalie Cole at the Hollywood Bowl. Becky's roots and heart remain in church music. Along with leading worship at her home church since birth, Becky has been invited to lead worship at many other churches. Becky is proud to be releasing two albums this fall; Her first solo album, entitled “Introducing Becky Martin,” and a project based on the journey of a young aspiring singer, entitled "Remember Me When.”
The event also commemorates the completion of the recently remodeled sanctuary at St. Luke’s. Guests are invited to tour the shiny new facility, where harpist Bonnie Moor and the St. Luke’s Adult Choir will showcase their talents between acts on the outdoor stage.
St. Luke’s Music Fest is free of charge and open to the public, young and old. Atendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets. Food will be available for purchase. Please visit St. Luke’s website at www.stlukeslongbeach.org for more information. Or, to learn more about Becky Martin, visit www.beckymartinsings.com.
