Free ASQ Developmental Screenings at Pretend City

Regular developmental
screenings in the early years make sure that children are on track and helps
identify areas where additional support may be needed. On July 11, Pretend City
Children’s Museum’s child development initiative, Good to Go from Head to Toe,
will host ASQ Developmental Screenings. These screenings will be facilitated by
School Readiness Nurses from Irvine and Laguna Beach Unified School Districts.
The screenings will assess your child’s speech, motor, cognitive and social
areas utilizing the Ages and Stages Questionnaire. Early diagnosis and treatment of
developmental delays can help give a child the best opportunity to reach
his/her full potential.
