VETERAN’S DAY *** NOVEMBER 11, 2012
At the 0930 Chapel Service on Sunday Morning, November 11, 2012 there will be a VETERAN’S DAY CELEBRATION at the Joint Forces Training Base. The Protestant and the Catholic congregations on the Base will sponsor this Service at the Multi-Purpose Room (the “New Chapel”) in the East Wing of Building 6 in which the “Liberty Theater” is located.
NAVY CAPTAIN (ret) JOHN N. RYAN will be the primary speaker. He is the President for the Los Alamitos Chapter, MOAA. As a volunteer with the Seal Beach (Navy Weapons Station) office which assists military retirees, he publishes a most helpful monthly newsletter for retirees. His Navy career included ten years with submarines and tours as Commanding Officer of a Destroyer, Cruiser, Recruit Training Command and also Commander, Fleet Training Group, Guantanamo, Cuba.
Join us as we celebrate VETERAN’ DAY. If possible, wear your uniform. All are invited.
