Every Friday through March 22, the Knights of Columbus invite locals to their Lenten Fish dinners.
The menu this year includes:
-Beer Battered Atlantic Cod or Salmon
-French Fries
-Macaroni and Cheese or rice
-Vegetables
-Cole Slaw
-Clam Chowder
-Dessert
-Assorted drinks
Organizers will be “subbing in” crab cakes or fish taco’s on a couple Fridays.
Funds raised from these meals will go directly to Knights charities that include St. Hedwig School tuition assistance, Seminarian Scholarships and many other worthy causes.
The price of either dinner is $9 for adults, $6 for children (3 to 12-years-old) or $30 per family. Dinners will be served from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Quinn Hall behind St. Hedwig Catholic Church at 11482 Los Alamitos Boulevard.
