AZTEC SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION - FREE!!!!!!!!!

SUPPORTED IN PART BY THE ARTS COUNCIL OF LONG BEACH AND THE CITY OF LONG BEACH.                                                                         MARTIN ESPINO, Organizer of this event was the recipient of the Arts Council's "mini-grant!!! 

Mission: Present engaging artistic activities and making cultural connections to ALL ages in the community! Teaching that this indigenous culture is part of the Americas. Showing the strong connections this ancient past has to our present day lives as well as developing an understanding that we all share more commonalities than differences!

2-4pm “One” 2 hour Native Bamboo Flute Making Class @ 2-4pm - Limit 25 people; must be on time and stay for whole class. because their are many processes. We're making the "real" thing! Level: grade 3 to Adult; also Face Painting & Aztec head dress making for kids.

4-430pm Break with Music ambience
