The Cheapest Way to Watch Movies Online

Many people are interested in downloading movies for free and they
search for torrent websites. This is Illegal as well as dangerous. The websites
providing these movies most likely also send Spyware and other malicious
applications along with the torrent file. These programs are highly dangerous
and may even get through your antivirus software.

A newly released movie DVD costs around $15 to $70. This is
not a cheap investment to make, especially when you consider the fact that you
will, in all probability, just watch it once. In comparison, popular online
video subscription services like Netflix and Hulu Plus offer a month’s worth of
virtually unlimited film streaming for as less as $8 a month! This makes these
two popular sites a cost-effective option available for watching movies online.

However, which website of the two offers a cheaper option? Both
Netflix and Hulu Plus offer a wide array of advantages that simply cannot be overlooked; you can instantly watch films online, download content, or even play them live on laptops and TVs. Furthermore, they promise instant access to a massive resource huge catalogues of films. So which of the two should you choose?

Price is certainly a major consideration for potential subscribers when they are choosing between the two services. Netflix has different pricing tiers that depends on the type and level of services availed by the customer. For $7.99 a month, you can either opt for virtually unlimited video streaming OR unlimited ‘a disc at a time’ rental. In order to avail both unlimited services, however, subscribers will have to pay a monthly fee of $15.98. Also, an additional $2 a month is charged for access to Netflix’s collection of Blu-ray discs.

Netflix offers a wider range of compatibility options compared to Hulu and this reduces the cost that subscribers would have to pay for purchasing plug-ins, add-ons and softwares. To watch all the latest movies and shows, all you have to do is to simply sign in and access your account. Netflix offers compatibility with desktop computers, laptops, gaming consoles, Android and Windows-based devices and home theater systems.

On the other hand, Hulu Plus charges subscribers a flat rate of $7.99 every month for all their services. Paying this much in monthly charges entitles subscribers to a seemingly endless catalogue of movies. However, one huge advantage that Hulu Plus offers its subscribers over Netflix is that they can watch the latest episodes of their favorite TV shows a day after they are aired on television. Apart from this, subscribers are also given the convenience of cancelling their subscription at any time they desire.

Hulu Plus offers limited options even though the most generally used ones are still there on the list. Gaming consoles like the PS3 and Xbox 360 are compatible with the service, while Android and Windows-based devices can also be used to access the account. Similar to Netflix, Hulu Plus too allows its subscribers the convenience of being able to ‘migrate’ their viewing experience across devices.

In all, Hulu Plus is certainly the cheaper option of the two and will be preferred by ardent TV fans. However, Netflix offers amazing membership perks such as a month’s free service for testing. You can also rate the movies and videos you watch for future recommendation. Netflix offers all these amazing features for a little extra charge of around $8.
