Silver Toyota, Motor Home Collide Near Leisure World Entrance

Also in local crime calls, a man was spotted near Main Street and Central Avenue trying to pick fights.

Editor's Note: The following crime calls were made to the Seal Beach Police Department and listed on the SBPD dispatch log. 

FOOT PATROL

  • 06/23/2013 — 2:22 p.m. — Main Street — A man near Main Street and Central Avenue was challenging other people to fight. He was described as 6-feet and 210 pounds and wearing a blue shirt.

  • 06/23/2013 — 3:42 p.m. — Seal Beach Boulevard — A 2-year-old and an infant were left unattended in a 4-door olive green Honda Accord. The caller said he or she will stand by and wait for officers. The car owner arrived and started getting into the vehicle. Police officers checked the children and found they were sleeping. The dispatcher noted the father was “strongly counseled” about not leaving kids in cars.

DISTURBANCE – JUVENILE

  • 06/24/2013 — 2:46 a.m. — Montecito Road — Two to three teens snuck into a Jacuzzi that had been closed for about five hours.  They were allegedly being very loud.

  • 06/24/2013 — 7:02 p.m.  — Seal Beach Boulevard and St. Andrews —A silver Toyota Tacoma and a motor home were involved in a traffic collision near the Leisure World entrance.

CITIZENS ASSIST

  • 06/25/2013 — 12:53 a.m. —A man repossessed a vehicle in Santa Ana, and he reported that the friends of the vehicle’s owner were following him in a white Chevy SUV.
