Readers' Choice: Nominate Your Favorite Fish Taco

We know food is subjective. That's why we need everyone's opinions. Who's got the best-tasting fish tacos in tiown? Tell us.

Editor’s Note: The nomination period is closed as of July 9. The voting period will begin next week.

Now that’s they’ve been around for a while, they’ve taken on a life of their own. They’re practically a restaurant category unto themselves. And variety? That’s easy to find.

Do you prefer your fish battered and fried, spiced and blackened or just grilled?

Are you a purist? Do you prefer your sauce to be a traditional mayonnaise-vinegar mix? Or do you like some chipotle to spice things up? What about heat? Bring it? Or let those jalapenos remain in the stainless steel buckets with the onions and the carrots?

There’s no shortage of fish tacos in Seal Beach, Rossmoor and Los Alamitos. The nice thing is, so few of our restaurants are chains. We’re talking the real deal.

So tell us, who does make the best fish taco in town? This is an open-ended question and we need your nominations to build our poll.

Nominations are accepted through July 6. But why wait? Tell us now whose fish taco is lo mejor (the best)!

Thanks in advance for your participation.
