Man Reports Heart Attack Near Goldenrod Street

Also in local crime calls, two men reportedly spray-painted a bridge.

Editor's Note: The following crime calls were made to the Seal Beach Police Department and listed on the SBPD dispatch log. 

RECKLESS DRIVER

  • 05/30/2013 – 09:29 a.m. – Pacific Coast Highway and Seal Beach Boulevard –  A white truck was tailgating a caller's car while traveling northbound on Seal Beach Boulevard.  The truck had stickers in the lower right window and the driver was described as a man in his 40s. The caller said the truck eventually swerved around the caller’s car and almost hit another vehicle on the road.

  • 05/31/2013 – 10:06 p.m. – Pacific Coast Highway and Anderson –Two women in a silver Nissan pickup truck were seen arguing with each other. The caller said one of them was stumbling when getting into the truck. The DUI turned out to be unfounded.

MEDICAL AID

  • 06/01/2013 – 2:26 p.m. – Goldenrod St. –  A caller said he was having a heart attack. The Orange County Fire Authority arrived to help the 59-year-old man who had chest pain and could barely walk.

  • 06/01/2013 – 5:19 p.m. – Avalon Dr. – Some men in their early twenties were caught tagging with either a black marker or spray paint. They were detained in a parking lot. At least one of them was cited on suspicion of vandalism and another was arrested on suspicion of drug use.

TRAFFIC HAZARD

  • 06/04/2013 – 7:47 p.m. – Lampson and Basswood – A tree fell onto a street, blocking the westbound lane of a road between Basswood and Lampson.
