Storage Trailer, Two Catalytic Converters Stolen in Los Al

Here are some of the latest crime reports from the Los Alamitos Police Department.

STOLEN VEHICLE

11/1/12 – 8:32 AM – 10800 Portal – A report of a storage trailer being taken without authorization sometime overnight.

11/1/12 – 11:43 AM – 4300 Green – A report of an unauthorized person taking a vehicle sometime overnight.  The vehicle was recovered in a nearby city.

AUTO BURGLARY

10/28/12 – 12:36 PM – 4500 Lampson – A report of an unauthorized person taking a 3rd row seat out of a SUV yesterday.

11/2/12 – 9:41 AM – 10700 Noel – A report of an unauthorized person forcing entry to a truck, with no loss of property, sometime overnight.

11/2/12 – 9:37 PM – 4100 Katella Ave. – A report of a vehicle window smash and a loss of property sometime during the prior two hours.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/SHOPLIFT

10/31/12 – 12:02 PM – 3500 Cerritos Ave. – A report of a lock cut from a storage unit, but no loss of property, sometime during the prior 3 months.

11/1/12 – 8:46 PM – 10700 Bloomfield St. – A report of an unauthorized person forcing entry through a back door of an office, with no loss of property, sometime during the prior hour.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

10/29/12 – 5:45 PM – 11700 Pine – A report of an unauthorized person entering a residence through a rear window sometime during the day and taking property.

THEFT

10/29/12 – 4:15 PM – 3800 Farquhar – A report of an unauthorized person taking a handicapped placard from an unsecured vehicle.

10/29/12 – 7:00 PM – Pine and Kempton – A report of an unauthorized person attempting to take a street sign sometime overnight.

10/31/12 – 7:09 AM – 5200 Katella Ave. – A report of an unauthorized person taking the keys to an unlocked vehicle sometime in the prior 20 minutes.

10/31/12 – 10:18 AM – 3300 Sausalito – A report of an unauthorized person taking a catalytic converter from a parked vehicle sometime during the morning.

10/31/12 – 11:36 AM – 10900 Bloomfield St. – A report of an unauthorized person taking a catalytic converter from a parked vehicle sometime during the morning.

10/31/12 – 4:22 PM – 10500 Calle Lee – A report of money taken from an unsecured desk and office sometime during the day.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD/CHECK FRAUD

10/29/12 – 12:11 PM – 10600 Oak St. – A report of a victim who lost their debit card and an unauthorized subject is making purchases with the account.

10/30/12 – 11:30 AM – 3200 Katella Ave. – A report of an unauthorized person using the victim’s personal information to establish credit accounts.

MISCELLANEOUS

10/28/12 – 2:00 PM – Los Alamitos Blvd. and Coyote Creek – A report of graffiti written on the walkway.

10/28/12 – 9:54 PM – Cerritos Ave. and Denni St. – Traffic stop.  A Paramount man, 34 was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

10/29/12 – 4:00 AM – 4000 Farquhar – Pedestrian check.  A 28-year-old Los Alamitos woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant. 

10/29/12 – 4:00 PM – 3300 Cerritos Ave. – A report of the victim’s vehicle being “keyed” sometime during the day.

10/30/12 – 6:02 PM – 4500 Lampson – A report of an unauthorized person damaging the fuel line of a vehicle parked in the lot sometime during the weekend.

11/2/12 – 9:49 PM – Katella Ave. and Valley View – Traffic stop. A 32-year-old Anaheim man was arrested for a parole warrant and a 34-year-old Garden Grove man was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
