Latest Jesse James Breakup Unlikely to Impact Seal Beach Real Estate
Unlike his divorce from Sandra Bullock, the reality TV star's latest breakup doesn't involve multimillion-dollar Surfside realty.
Former Surfside Seal Beach resident and motorcycle reality TV star Jesse James is making headlines this week for his pre-wedding breakup with tattoo model Kat Von D.
As AOL Real Estate notes, there is a major difference between his latest high-profile breakup and his divorce from former Surfside resident Sandra Bullock. Last time, he took a beating in the press and in the housing market, but this time it’s just the press he has to contend with.
According to AOL Real Estate, the James-Bullock divorce left him with a Surfside home and condo to sell during the peak of the housing crisis. Originally listed at $6,750,000, the house sold for $4.5 million in December. And his three-bedroom condo sold for $865,000 after being listed at $1,290,000.

On a related note, James’ sister Juliana James England was recently arrested by the FBI, accused of stealing about $400,000 from Callan Western Sales, the Los Alamitos business where she worked before it went out of business. If convicted, she could face 60 years in prison.
