Five Men Spotted in Fight on Main Street

Editor's Note: The following crime calls were made to the Seal Beach Police Department and listed on the SBPD dispatch log. 

WELFARE CHECK

• 06/13/2013 — 9:19 a.m. —4th Street — A caller said he was concerned that a man he knows is not taking his medication properly and is mixing it with marijuana.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON

• 06/13/2013 — 9:46 a.m. — College Park Drive — A caller was on the bike path when he saw two people in the park by the baseball diamond firing an air rifle into the air.  

DISTURBANCE – FIGHT

• 06/13/2013 — 10:48 p.m. — Main Street — Five men were reportedly involved in a fight on Main Street. The guys separated and began walking away in different directions. One of the men in his 20s appeared to be injured. The caller said two men were allegedly the aggressors and possibly transients.

PETTY THEFT

• 06/14/2013 — 7:31 a.m. — Marina Drive — A $200 piece of equipment was reported stolen from a caller’s motorcycle. The bike had been left in a nearby carport.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON

• 06/14/2013 — 11:42 a.m. — 17th Street and Landing Avenue — A man in his 30s was walking around block three times slowly and appeared to be watching homes.
