More Quakes Jolt O.C. Wednesday

Again centered near Yorba Linda, the new shakers follow a series of Tuesday night temblors.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA -- A 4.5-magnitude earthquake shook Southern California shortly after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. It was followed by a 3.4 jolt about 20 minutes later.

The 4.5 quake was epicentered about 3 miles northeast of Yorba Linda and was felt as far north as Los Angeles. The 3.4 temblor hit in the same vicinity.
