Boomer on the Loose: Ruling the World

For you Boomers, have you noticed that we're in charge now?

So much stuff is because of us now.  Think about it.  The stuff we talked about in college or at bars in the '60's and '70's is coming true now.

 Civil rights, integration--we've got a half-black President now.  Gay people aren't so weird after we've known a lot of them.  We don't really mind if they get married because it doesn't hurt US.  We started caring about the environment, even made an "Earth Day"  although a lot of people still don't care much, if it lessens profits.

 But cars are getting more electric, and gas mileage is probably double what it was in the 60's.  We're trying to improve, anyway.

 And for those of us who refuse to accept aging, have you seen what kind of procedures you can get now at "medi-spas"?  They can laser you, lift whatever's sagging, and remove any hairs and lines in whatever embarrassing places you can think of.

And how about Medical Marijuana?  Laws are steadily loosening up because we Boomers know that pot never hurt anybody, except for the munchies.  Now that we Boomers can afford it, they even deliver the marijuana now.  

 You can even find a girlfriend or boyfriend now, without leaving the house.  I get so many matchmaker emails, and I'm amazed at the 60-year-olds and up still looking for love.  And it's even easier, because you can meet online, in your jammies.

 It's all for us, Boomers!  Didn't you know, ever since you went to school, that you and your friends would and should rule the world!?  Now we do!
