KELLER WILLIAMS REALTY LOS ALAMITOS SUPPORTING SECOND HARVEST FOOD DRIVE

Once again Keller Williams Realty Los Alamitos, led by the Pattie, Kelly and Wink Team, will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable items for its annual winter holiday food drive.

"We enjoy being able to help out in the community," said Pattie Laird. "This is such a wonderful way to make a huge difference in so many lives."

Last year the agents collected several hundred pounds of canned goods to help feed the less fortunate people in the local community during the holiday season.

Working with the Second Harvest Food Bank, the office will be collecting canned goods and donations to help feed the hungry. Food and monetary donations will be collected until January 4th.

"We are so fortunate to have a caring community that has donated so much food to help the needy," said Laird. "Hunger is such a pressing issue today and with the community's help we try to do what we can with our food drive."

The Lairds have been spearheading the  canned food drive for many years in the local community and brought it to Keller Williams when they moved from their previous real estate office.

"The Second Harvest Food Bank is dedicated to alleviating hunger, developing programs to increase awareness of the hunger problem and providing an opportunity for volunteerism and community involvement," said Laird. "By collecting canned goods and personal items we are able to make the holidays a little more special."

“The care and support that the community has shown in past years has been wonderful,” said Elaine Armogida, team leader at KW Los Alamitos.“We are so excited to once again be a part of this Holiday tradition.”

Food items that are greatly needed are canned meats, canned fish, beef stew, chili, canned fruits and soups.

Keller Williams Realty Los Alamitos has been a constant presence in the local community for more than 9 years. Agents are also collecting toys for the Toys for Tots project this holiday season and sponsoring a pet photos with Santa event.

If you are interested in dropping off canned goods, you may leave them at 10900 Los Alamitos Blvd (behind Hof’s Hut) or please contact the Pattie, Kelly and Wink Team at their Keller Williams Realty office at 562-884-3134 or e-mail them at Plaird4re@aol.com.
