Great Places To Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

We asked Patch readers where they go to celebrate the green on March 17 — if you don't see your favorite Irish pub then be sure to add it to our map!

Everybody knows that on March 17, the party heads to Main Street, Seal Beach and Second Street, Belmont Shore.

With 10 Irish pubs between them, the two streets become a sea of green party-goers.

But just in case we missed any obvious St Patrick's Day headquarters, Patch asked for your favorite St. Patrick's Day gathering places, and you answered!

Is your favorite pub or restaurant missing from our map? You can include it by hitting the "add" button on the map above. Let us know in the description box why your recommendation will be the place to hang out this St. Patrick's Day!

As usual, parts of Main Street Seal Beach will be closed to cars and heavily patrolled by police. Volunteers with the Seal Beach Lions will be on hand to offer free rides home to partiers who drink too much. And be advised the Long Beach Police Department will increase DUI patrols this weekend.
