Watch: Drink Tip of the Week: Queen's Park Swizzle

Master bartender Jason Schiffer uses mint in this week's concoction—the Queen's Park Swizzle.

This is the third installment in a weekly series showcasing the art of cocktail mixing, courtesy of 320 Main restaurant owner and bartender, Jason Schiffer.

The Queen's Park Swizzle originated in the late Queen's Park Hotel in Trinidad. Always mixed with a swizzle stick, the cocktail consists of aged rum, lime, cane syrup, angostura bitters and mint.

"On the back of the mint, there are little hairs that have oils on them," said Jason Schiffer of 320 Main.

"You've got to wake those up."
