Seal Beach Equipment Company Builds New Alabama Facility

The heavy equipment company has more than 100 locations all over the U.S. and internationally.

The Seal Beach-based multi-national heavy equipment company BakerCorp broke ground this month on a $1.5-million, 10,000-square-foot expansion to its petrochemical facility near Mobile, Alabama.

"The new complex will house warehouses and about 2,200 square feet of office space to better serve the ... company's petrochemical customers along the Gulf Coast area. BakerCorp is a national market leader in tank, pump, filtration and shoring equipment rentals," according to All Alabama, an Alabama news website.

The 70-year-old publicly traded company has more than 100 locations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe, according to the company's website. They provide heavy industrial equipment for many industries, including chemicals, manufacturing, refining, oil and gas, construction, industrial services, environmental remediation, wastewater and many others.
