Old Ranch Country Club Gets New Ownership

Sequoia Golf Group plans to focus on increasing the value of club memberships and the overall member experience at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach.

Old Ranch Country Club has a new owner whose plans include "significant improvements" to the experience at the Seal Beach club, officials announced Wednesday.

Sequoia Golf Group will immediately start investing money into the Old Ranch County Club to increase the value of club memberships and the overall quality of the member experience, many improvements which are scheduled to be underway within its first year of operation, Sequoia officials announced in a released statement.

"Through our unique member services, such as our PlayAway program, which allows members to play at more than 450 private clubs located across the country, we’re confident we can have an immediate impact on the overall experience available to Old Ranch members,” Joe Guerra, president and chief executive officer of Sequoia Golf, said.

Old Ranch Country Club boasts an 18-hole Ted Robinson designed championship golf course, a comprehensive practice facility, fitness center, swimming pool, fine dining, an active social program and a family-friendly atmosphere. The Club also has a newly renovated Clubhouse.
