High Gas Prices Prompt Winter Travelers to Scale Back

The average price of a gallon of gas remained stagnant and higher than average this week, but here are your cheapest local stations.

The Orange County average price also fell a half-cent today to $3.834, one day after dropping two-tenths of a cent.
The Orange County average price is nine-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, but 3.2 cents more than a month ago and 72.1 cents higher than one year ago

“Although not as high as they were in the spring, gas prices continue to weigh on the minds of Southern California consumers according to a recent Auto Club travel and spending poll,” said Auto Club spokesperson Jeffrey Spring. “Half of those surveyed online said they will take at least one trip this winter, but indicated they are being more price sensitive.”
