The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Orange County rose today for the fifth consecutive day after dropping 56 times in the pervious 57 days, increasing eight-tenths of a cent to $3.703.
The Orange County average price fell to its lowest amount since Jan. 1 on Thursday then increased 6 cents over the next five days, including two-tenths of a cent on Monday. It is 4.8 cents more than one week ago, but 23.9 cents less than one month ago and 9.4 cents lower than one year ago.
Currently, the cheapest stations in town are
- $3.68 at Mobil at 3971 Cerritos Ave, Los Alamitos
- $3.76 at Conkle Russ Unocal at 2071 Seal Beach Blvd, Rossmoor/Seal Beach
