Your options for late night dining, early bird specials and animal-style burgers are about to open up in Seal Beach.

Pencil in another pilates class to your weekly schedule.

There are two new restaurants opening up in Seal Beach, and while each has its own claim to fame, it ain’t health food.

It’s no secret that In-N-Out Burger is opening in the Shops at Rossmoor on Seal Beach Boulevard. It was originally anticipated to be open by now, but it’s a little behind schedule. The new grand opening date is Thursday, according to the most recent information provided officials with the Shops at Rossmoor. It’s just a couple more days until you can order your burger ‘animal style’ with a side of fries.

City and Shops officials herald this In-N-Out as being different from the others because the drive-thru doesn’t line up with the street so that hungry throngs won’t back up traffic on Seal Beach Boulevard. Traffic on Seal Beach Boulevard is a major concern for residents in Rossmoor, Seal Beach and Los Alamitos, and the Seal Beach City Council recently to pay for a traffic study of the impact of the shopping center this week. No doubt they’ll be watching closely to see how the design of the new In-N-Out works

Another major chain is moving in just down the street.

Denny’s is also moving in where the old Primrose Café used to be at the crossroads of Seal Beach Boulevard and Westminster Avenue. The restaurant will open on April 8.  The diner will begin hiring on March 20 and applicants can apply in person at the new diner located at 13956 Seal Beach Blvd. It looks like it won’t be too long before you can get your Moons Over My Hammy.
