“Things are really moving forward beautifully,” said Seth Eaker, a chamber spokesman and past chamber president. “We’re looking forward to an amazing car show on the 27.”

Organizers expect about 15,000 attendees. The Big Red Double-Decker Busses will provide shuttle service from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Alamitos Bay Landing at the corner of Marina and North Marina Drive to the event on Main Street in Old town Seal Beach.

There will be free parking in the parking lots from the Crab Pot to 2nd street.

Drag Race Car Historian Dave Mandella will bring his collection of record setting dragsters of the 60's, and the Seal Beach Lions Club will provide a pancake breakfast and a BBQ for lunch. There will also be a 50/50 opportunity drawing — last year's winner won $445.

Kids can also take part in a pinewood derby race vs. the Chamber of Commerce president. All preteen girls and boys are invited. Authorized kits are on sale at Knock Knock Toy Store on Main Street in Seal Beach.

The chamber will provide trophies for the winners, and, if the Derby Winner can beat the Chamber president, a $100 savings bond.
