'12 Days of Christmas' Price Tag Grows

Buying the gifts listed in the holiday tune would cost more than $24,000, according to PNC economists.

The economy has decided not to take a break this holiday season, according to PNC Wealth Management economists who say the price for gifts is up—especially if your true love asked Santa for a partridge in a pear tree.

Each year, PNC calculates the price tag for all the gifts listed in the holiday song "The 12 Days of Christmas." That's right, all the way down to the drummers drumming.

This year, if anyone, naughty or nice, wants all the gifts in the song, it would add up to $24,263.18—which is higher than last year's $23,439.
