Local Freeway and connector closures will make it challenging to get around this weekend.
The southbound 405 Freeway will close entirely in Seal Beach Sunday night and Monday morning and the 405/605 connectors will also close entirely over night.

FULL FREEWAY CLOSURES
- SB I-405 Freeway between Seal Beach Blvd. and Bolsa Chica Rd. (Closed from 11:59 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 26 until 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 27)
- DETOUR: From the SB I-405 exit Studebaker Rd. (stay in the right lane) and proceed south, turn left on Westminster Ave., continue east on Westminster Ave. to access the SB I-405 freeway on-ramp OR turn left on Bolsa Chica Rd., then turn right on Garden Grove Blvd. to access the EB SR-22 freeway on-ramp
ROAD / LANE CLOSURES
- Seal Beach Blvd. between Old Ranch Pkwy. and North Gate Rd. (Lanes only, closed Friday night, Aug. 24 and Saturday night, Aug. 26 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.; Full road closure Sunday night, Aug. 26 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27)
- DETOUR: Seal Beach Blvd. will be accessible Friday and Saturday night. On Sunday night, Aug. 26 motorists will be directed to use Valley View St. or Studebaker Rd. in order to bypass Seal Beach Blvd.
CONNECTOR CLOSURES
- SB I-605 to SB I-405 Connector (Closed Sunday, Aug. 26 from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 27)
- DETOUR: From the SB I-605 exit Studebaker Rd. (stay in the right lane) and proceed south, turn left on Westminster Ave. then left on Seal Beach Blvd. to access the SB I-405 freeway on-ramp OR from Westminster Ave. turn left on Bolsa Chica Rd., then right on Garden Grove Blvd. to access the EB SR-22 freeway on-ramp
