If you are thinking of hopping on or off local freeways on Sunday or Monday night, change your plans.
The entire northbound San Diego (405) Freeway will close down entirely Sunday and Monday nights for construction work as part of the West County Connectors Project. Both sides of Garden Grove (22) Freeway will close Sunday night. The connectors between the San Gabriel (605) Freeway and the 405 and the 405 and the 22 will also be closed Sunday night and Monday night. And both the Seal Beach Boulevard northbound on and off-ramps along with the Valley View westbound onramps and eastbound off-ramps will be closed each night, too.
- The northbound side of the 405 will close between the Garden Grove (22) Freeway and Seal Beach Boulevard both nights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Detour: From the WB SR-22 exit Valley View St. and turn right, turn left on Katella Ave. and continue west to access the NB I-605 OR from the NB I-405 exit Westminster Ave. and turn left, turn right on Seal Beach Blvd., then turn left on Katella Ave. to access the NB I-605. - Both sides of the 22 will be closed between the 405 and Goldenwest Street/Knott Street from 10 p.m. to 5 p.m. tonight.
Detour: From the westbound SR-22, take the Knott Street / Goldenwest Street exit, turn left on Goldenwest Street, continue south and turn right on Westminster Avenue, turn right on Studebaker Road to access the westbound SR-22 freeway or the northbound I-405 freeway on-ramp

From the southbound I-405 exit Seal Beach Boulevard, turn left and proceed south to Westminster Avenue, turn left on Westminster Avenue and continue east to access the southbound I-405 on-ramp or turn left on Goldenwest Street to access the eastbound SR-22 freeway on-ramp.
