Complete 405 Freeway Closure Starts Tonight
Both directions of the San Diego (405) Freeway will be closed tonight for the West County Connector Project.
Both directions of the San Diego (405) Freeway will be closed beginning at 11 p.m. Friday night between the Garden Grove (22) Freeway and San Gabriel River (605) Freeway.
Crews will close the southbound 405 tonight from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Saturday. The northbound lanes also will be closed at 11 p.m. and are scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. Saturday, according to the Orange County Transportation Authority.
On Saturday, only the northbound 405 freeway will be closed from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. from the 22 to 605.

The closure is necessary because crews are demolishing the west half of the Seal Beach Boulevard bridge overnight Friday, which will require that Seal Beach Boulevard be closed between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. on Friday and between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. on Saturday.
