Both Sides of 405 to Alternate Closures This Week

Portions of the northbound and southbound San Diego (405) Freeway between Valley View Street and the San Gabriel (605) Freeway interchange will be closed tonight through Saturday, the Orange County Transportation Authority Announced today.

Here is the complete list of this week’s closures:

NORTHBOUND I-405 FULL CLOSURES:

• The northbound 405 Freeway will be closed from Seal Beach Boulevard to the 605 between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. tonight, Wednesday night, Friday night, and Saturday night.
• The northbound 405 Freeway will be closed from Valley View Street to Seal Beach Boulevard between midnight and 6 a.m. on Friday night, and Saturday night.

 RECOMMENDED DETOURS

 From the westbound garden Grove (22) Freeway:

• Exit Valley View Street and turn right, proceed north on Valley View Street and turn left on Katella Avenue, continue west on Katella Avenue to access the northbound 605 on-ramp OR continue west on Katella Avenue / Willow Street, turn left on Studebaker Road and proceed south to access the northbound 405 on-ramp

 From the northbound 405:

• Exit Valley View Street, turn left on Garden Grove Boulevard, turn left on Bolsa Chica Road and proceed south, turn right on Westminster Avenue, turn right on Studebaker Road and continue north to access the northbound 405 on-ramp  

 SOUTHBOUND 405 FULL CLOSURES:

• The southbound 405 Freeway will be closed from the 605 freeway to Seal Beach Boulevard between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Thursday night.

RECOMMENDED DETOURS

From the southbound 405 Freeway:

• Exit Studebaker Road (stay in the right lane) and continue south, turn left on Westminster Avenue and proceed east to access the southbound 405 on-ramp - OR - continue east on Westminster Avenue and turn left on Goldenwest Street to access the eastbound 22 on-ramp

From the southbound 605 Freeway:

• Exit Spring Street and turn right, turn left on Studebaker Road and proceed south, turn left on Westminster Avenue, continue east on Westminster Avenue to access the southbound 405 on-ramp - OR- continue east on Westminster Avenue and turn left on Goldenwest Street to access the eastbound 22 on-ramp.
