Astronomical High Tides May Cause Local Flooding Thursday-Sunday

The National Weather Service is reporting tides to be higher than seven feet during the early to mid-morning hours Thanksgiving weekend, and may cause tidal overflow In Seal and Sunset Beaches.

According to the National Weather Service Seal Beach and Sunset Beach could have coastal flooding due to higher than normal tides. 

The National Weather Services and the Governor's Offices of Emergency Services predict astronomical high tides in Orange County:

Thursday - 7.1 feet at 7:32 a.m.

Friday - 7.1 feet at 8:14 a.m.

Saturday - 7.0 feet at 8:58 a.m.
