Another Rainstorm Headed Our Way

The Weather Service is predicting a 100 percent chance of rain and possible thunder this week.

Bet you thought it was safe to put away your umbrella until next year..well,it’s turning out to be a wet spring season.

Another late rainstorm is heading in this week and is expected to land in the Los Alamitos area Wednesday with a 100 percent chance of rain by Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service. There is also a slight chance of thunderstorms Wednesday night.

The Seal Beach-Los Alamitos area is expected to see about a half-inch of rain while the inland mountain areas could get as much as an inch and a half of rain. Forecasters are predicting the heaviest rainfall to come late Wednesday night, and the storm may linger into Thursday morning, making the rush hour commute a likely slog.

The snow level is expected to lower to around 6000 feet with a few inches of snow possible, according to the weather service.
