From July 6 until August 31, the Seal Beach Chamber’s Summer Concert Series will be holding nine outdoor events, featuring music ranging from rock to blues to modern.
Fast becoming a favorite summer tradition, the concerts draw a variety of people including families with young children, all who gather up on beach blankets and chairs to enjoy some tunes and a picnic.
George Banker, of the Seal Beach Chamber Board of Directors, describes these outdoor concerts as “a great opportunity to get together as a community while celebrating summer and the outdoor lifestyle we enjoy in Seal Beach and the surrounding communities.”
All concerts will be held Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. at Eisenhower Park, located at the foot of the Seal Beach Pier. Parking can be found at the pier at a cost of $6 per vehicle.
The official schedule of bands and dates are:
- Southland Mega Groove on July 6
- Sgt. Pepper on July 13
- Urban Dread on July 20
- Monkeys with Fire on July 27
- The King Salmon Band on August 3; Robby Armstrong on August 10
