Besides the 5K walk, there will be music by the duo Jusstuss, food trucks and refreshments, awards, team photos and a family festival. Mrs. California, Christy Van Der Westhuizen, will emcee. Walkers who raise $100 receive a commemorative T-shirt, and there are prizes for top fund-raising teams and individuals. Onsite registration opens at 7:30 a.m., opening ceremonies begin at 8:30 and the walk begins at 9 a.m.
