Night of the Living Dead

Zombies Invade Los Al High School!

Los Al Drama Brings “Night of the Living Dead” to Life

The 1968 classic cult movie story, “Night of the Living Dead” will be performed by the Los Alamitos High School Drama Program on April 19, 20 and 21.  All three performances begin at 7pm in the school’s Performing Arts Center.

The George Romero script, revised and updated to the current era by Los Al Drama Program Director Taryn Stenberg and Heather Smith, tells the zombie invasion story in dramatic fashion, involving both horror and humor.  The action centers around characters occupying two parallel scenes:  a rural farmhouse and a modern television studio.

The production is headlined by Los Al Junior Tom Flores as Ben, Senior Adele Chen as Barbara, Senior Jamie Falcone as Charlie, and Junior Greg Spradling as Peter.

Los Al Drama is known for its original production of last fall’s swashbuckling performance of “The Three Musketeers,” which featured over 20 swordsmen and women on stage.
