Zipped Up In An Alley Suitcase With Her Kittens, Cecelia Got a Second Chance

A homeless woman rescued Cecelia and her kittens and brought them to the shelter.

Editor’s Note:  The Cat of the Week feature is written and submitted by Gail Bowers, a volunteer at the Seal Beach Animal Care Center where the animals are available for adoption. The shelter is at 1700 Adolfo Lopez Drive, Seal Beach, (562) 430-4993.

Cecelia and her 2 kittens were brought to us by a homeless woman who
found them in a zipped-up suitcase in a Seal Beach alley. They were dehydrated and flea infested but with proper treatment, they quickly recovered from their ordeal.

The kittens are still in foster care and not quite old enough for adoption yet but Cecelia is very ready. She is a sweet and friendly young cat with striking green eyes who likes
attention and petting. Come meet her and you will fall in love.
