Get Out: Cupcakes, Strings, Horns and the Great Outdoors

It's the weekend - almost. You've got time to play. What to do? We got ideas in our new feature, Get Out.

It's been a loooong work week and now the weekend is upon you.

You've been too busy to scout for the best options or check out what's playing, doing and happening this weekend.  Patch's new Get Out feature is the solution. Each week, we collect the very best in weekend options. But we can't do it alone.

We know we can count on you to help us highlight the best ways to spend downtime with family and friends. Whether trying a new bar or crowd-surfing at a concert, your Get Out options will be right here at your fingertips.

4.  Spaghettini Italian Grill and Lounge
Where/When: 3005 Old Ranch Parkway, Seal Beach, Sundays 5:00pm to 9:00pm

5. The Starting Gate
Where/When: 5052 Katella Ave., Los Alamitos, Friday and Saturday nights

6. California Western Monarch Butterfly Day
Where/When: Mile Square Park, Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why Go: Bring out your children ages 4 to 12 can enjoy crafts, nature walks, assist with native plantings and learn all about butterfly habitat.
