The Cat Previously Known as Frankie

This big boy's place is in a loving home.

Editor’s Note:  The Cat of the Week feature is written and submitted by Gail Bowers, a volunteer at the Seal Beach Animal Care Center where the animals are available for adoption. The shelter is at 1700 Adolfo Lopez Drive, Seal Beach, (562) 430-4993.

Martin was previously known as Frankie. He is a handsome 3 year-old Maine Coon, who is declawed on the front.  He lost his home when his owner had a stroke and was no longer able to care for him.  A neighbor agreed to take him in, but she then brought him to us saying he was a stray found wandering around Leisure World.  We learned this after the caregiver for the original owner saw Martin on our web site and called to inquire about him.

He really loves Martin, whom he called Frankie, but since he doesn't know if he will ever be able to care for him again, his prime concern is that his cat find a good home where he will be loved and well cared for.
