Slideshow: Your Town—a Hero, a Tsunami and a Lot of Partying

It was a busy week in Seal Beach and Los Alamitos.

It was a bit of a wild and intense week in the neighborhood. Last Friday’s threat of a of media and onlookers to town. And Saturday brought the circus in the form of the , a 300-person bicycle pub crawl, a zany annual Seal Beach tradition.

It was an emotional day in Los Alamitos on Monday, with the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base’s for Sgt. Jason Weaver, a 22-year-old Anaheim native killed by an improvised explosive while on patrol in Afghanistan. Weaver was an only child, and his death devastated his family.

Finally brought the usual crowds to Main Street Seal Beach along with police patrol units from several cities to help control the crowds.
